THE MUSKS IN ENGLAND

The Musk Family origins can be traced back to Suffolk, England in the last decade of the 1700s. The Name Musk is not common. It is an abbreviation of the word Muschet or Musket. The first recorded use of the name Muschet was with William Muschet who held the Bishopric of Ely in Cambridgeshire in 1165.

Musk ancestors in England reportedly started with John Musk who married Maryann Edwards in Tuddenham, Suffolk in 1791.  Their son Harry, born in 1797, was a farm laborer.  He and his wife Charlotte lived at Exning in Suffolk and had a large family.  Their numbers included Henry who emigrated with his young wife to America in 1858 and Eliza who had three sons born out of wedlock, her eldest son Harry being born in 1862.

Eliza’s two other sons died young.  She moved to London, working as a servant there, but returned to Exning to marry in 1884.  Her son Harry had remained in Exning during this time with relatives.  He married and then moved to London himself.  However, his marriage fizzled out and Harry departed for South Africa sometime in the 1890’s.

THE MUSKS IN PRETORIA

Harry Musk found a new wife, Lucy Champion, in South Africa and they made their home first in Cape Town where he was recorded as a bricklayer and then in Pretoria where he was a mason.  He and Lucy raised five children, three boys and two girls.  Harry died in 1917, one month after the birth of his youngest son Walter.  Lucy remarried.

Walter Henry James Musk ( 4 August 1971 - 27 March 1986) was sergeant in the South African army, said to have been “quiet” and “grumpy” and rather outmatched by his more outgoing British wife Cora Amelia Robinson. Walter and Coara were married in Johannesburg South Africa on 6 May 1944. Walter and Cora had two sons, Errol (1946), and Michael (1952).

ERROL MUSK:

Errol Graham Musk (b. 1946), the father of Elon Musk, is know as one of the greatest engineers of all time. He was a real estate developer and a successful engineering consultant. He had a successful engineering business in Pretoria, South Africa, which included large projects, such as office buildings, retail complexes, residential subdivisions, and even an air force base. Errol was also owned mines and other places which worked with natural resources. He was half owner in an emerald mine in Zambia near Lake Tanganyika. Because of his success, he retired early in the 1980s. Since then he uses his time and money to travel the world He is an avid sailor and also a pilot.

Errol Graham Musk was born in 1946 in Pretoria, Transvaal, South Africa to Walter Henry James Musk and Cora Amelia Robinson. Walter was born in South Africa. Cora was born in England. His grandparents were descended from the Dutch Free Burghers.

Errol was elected to the Pretoria City Council in 1972 as was an outspoken advocate for the abolishing of apartheid. .

Errol and Maye: First Marriage

Errol married his high school friend Maye Haldeman (who holds Canadian Citizenship and works as a model, author, speaker, and dietician) in 1970 in South Africa. Errol and Maye have 3 children together. Elon Reeve Musk, (b. 28 June 1971). Kimbal Musk (b. 1972), and Tosca (b. 1974.

After the birth of Tosca in 1974, Errol’s and Maye’s marriage started to have problems. Errol and Maye officially divorced in 1979. The Courts ordered Elon and Kimbal to stay with their father, Errol, for the weekdays and with their mother, Maye, on the weekends. Tosca’s custody was given solely to Maye since Tosca was still a toddler.

Errol and Heide-Mari: Second Marriage

Errol married Heidi-Mari who was a widow ho had 3 children of her own. They had 2 children together, Alexandre (Ali) Musk and Asha (Rose) Musk. There marriage lasted 18 yrs but ended after Heidi-Mari found out her daughter, Jana Bezuidenhout had sexual relationships with her step father, Errol. During the divorce, Errol confessed in court to multiple numerous affairs.

Errol and Jana Bezuidenhout: Third Marriage

Jana did not talk to her step father for years. She called him in 2012 after the break up with her boyfriend. Errol decided to hep out his step daughter and a romantic relationship ensued. Errol and Jana had their first child together, Elliot Musk in 2017. They had a second child in 2019, a daughter. Errol described his stepdaughter when she was growing up as a “lovely girl.” The marriage between Jana and Errol only lasted 2 years.

ERROL MUSK KILLED 3 PEOPLE

In 1998 Errol Musk said he was with his 6 year old daughter Alexadre were home in South Africa. While Alexandre was taking a bath, Errol encountered seven armed men in another part of the house. The Gang immediately upon him. Errol was able to dodge all the bullets. He retreated to his bedroom and grabbed a .357 Magnum handgun.

Errol told police the gun as loaded with hollow point bullets and his very first shot went straight through one of the intruder’s heads and the shrapnel entered a second intruder. Errol said both men were killed. At this point, the other intruders fled but Errol was able to take down one more intruder in the hallway. Errol was acquitted of manslaughter charges on the grounds it was self defense.

ERROL MUSK BANKRUPTCY:

After the divorce of Maye, Errol Musk began to lose money. He became bankrupt in the 1990s. He was bailed out by his sons, Elon and Kimbal on stipulation that their father would do no more bad things. Errol was abusive emotionally and a manipulator. Elon, his son would tell people his father was "such a terrible human being. You have no idea. My dad will have a carefully thought out plan of evil. He will plan evil. Almost every crime you could possibly think of he has done. Almost every evil thing you could possibly think of he has done.” Elon and Kimbal still to this day are helping their father out financially. Errols net worth as of today is 2 million.
